Classical Academy

English class provides students with the building blocks for more advanced writing and reading comprehension. Students expand their vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills using various strategies and techniques that we review in class. 

Math Applications (5th to 8th)

Pre-Algebra (7th grade accelerated)

Over the course of a three year curriculum, students will learn the fundamentals of the Latin language, the language of the ancient Romans, and receive a general introduction to classical studies.

​CACS uses an integrated Science series. Topics in Life, Physical and Earth Sciences are taught at each grade level. Science readings are used in preparation for the PARCC Language Arts/Math test given to all grades. 

In art class students will explore a wide array of art styles, mediums, and techniques, while learning and utilizing art terminology and developing the skills needed to create visual art.

Social Studies explains the foundations and inner mechanisms of your community, your culture, your country, and the world. It fosters an understanding of how the past informs the present and how we relate to one another in order to prepare students to be future leaders.

Physical activity is critical to the development and maintenance of good health. In physical education classes, students will gain an understanding of the importance of being physically active. 

Classical Academy offers instruction to students that have a wide range of disabilities. With the support of our In-Class Support Teacher and Child Study Team, we strive to maximize the students’ learning and enable students work to their potential in a least restrictive environment.
