academyOn state required 8th grade exams (GEPA-8 from 2000-2007and beginning 2008, the ASK-8) which test language arts, mathematics, and science, Classical Academy 8th graders have each year outperformed, most often by large margins, their comparative cohorts in Clifton Public Middle Schools.
In each year since taking the 8th grade standardized tests, Classical Academy Students have also placed in the top 5% - 10% of all New Jersey public charter schools, and scored in each year of the last decade in the top one/third (often the first or second student-outcome ranked school) of all Passaic County New Jersey public middle schools.

Our students' most recent demonstration of high achievement is evidenced on the 2010 'ASK-8' state-required exam:

Percent of 8th Grade Class 'Proficient' ('passing')
Language Arts 100%
Mathematics 100%
Science 100%
Percent of 8th Grade Class 'Advance Proficient'
Language Arts 53%
Mathematics 80%
Science 80%

On other school-required standardized exams, such as the 'National Latin Exams' and the 'National Mythology Exams,' Classical Academy students routinely perform very well, with the yearly distribution of numerous 'Gold Medals' and 'Certificates of Achievement' issued by the American Classical League for high test results.
Most Classical Academy graduates, those with high grades and even graduates with not superior but respectable grades and standardized test scores, are regularly placed in high school 'honors' or 'advance placement' classes in the 9th grade. In over a decade, no Classical Academy graduate has ever been denied admissions to private high schools, and many enter with scholarships.
Parent and student satisfaction is very high, with 92%-97% on annual 'satisfaction surveys' stating they would 'very much' or 'most likely' recommend the Classical Academy to a friend, neighbor, or relative for their children's middle-school education. In fact, most parents who enroll their children come to the Classical Academy through 'referrals' or recommendations
